Sunday, February 5, 2023

In Case You Missed It: U-M's Dr. Rodica Pop-Busui joined a panel discussion in December to address the opportunities and challenges of preventing diabetes-related amputations.

Amputations are on the rise in the United States. To address this issue the American Diabetes Association (ADA) established the Amputation Prevention Alliance to disrupt the curve of amputations among low-income and minority individuals with diabetes. Learn more about the Amputation Prevention Alliance here.
